I have nothing but complements for A Woman's Way Driving School. I am a 50 year old who has not had a license since my teen years. My instructor was extremely patient with me, and her planned lessons helped me to build confidence over time - increasing the complexity of my lessons as my driving skills improved. I always knew that it is one thing to pass the road test, and another thing altogether to drive with skill and confidence. If you are interested in learning to drive with skill and confidence - contact these ladies - they are excellent!!

I thought I would never learn to drive, but AWW really changed that! Lynn and Myra were always able to work with my schedule and my abilities, and really cared about my learning process. It really felt like they were rooting for me when it came to taking my road test, and I never could have passed it without them! Now, not only do I love driving, but I feel a capability and an independence that I didn't before Thank you, A Woman's Way!!!

I never thought I would be able to drive. When I called and spoke to Lynn she automatically put me at ease and assured me that Myra would teach me how to drive. They are wonderful teachers with great patience and vast experience. I felt like I was always safe in their hands. I was very nervous the first day but they eased me into it and helped me feel more confident. I highly recommend them. I am now a licensed driver and I couldn't have done it without Myra. Myra is an amazing teacher. She will give all of herself to make sure you are learning each lesson. She goes at your pace and layers the lessons so that you feel more and more confident with each lesson. I am very grateful and blessed to have come across their school. They have given me wings.

I had terrible anxiety while taking my road test. I failed a few times and just couldn't get over the fear of it. Driving with Myra helped me so much. She helped me realize I am not the only one and that it is just a test. This morning on my 5th try i finally overcame my fears and PAST! I am so thankful I couldn't have done it without you :)

Myra is incredible! My daughter took a refresher lesson prior to her road test. Myra reminded her of all the rules and regulations that are required while taking a road test. She instilled the confidence that my daughter was lacking. My daughter credits Myra's help with her passing her road test on her first try.

I was terrified of driving ever since I got my permit 5 years ago, and something told me to push myself to just get over it. I called A Woman's Way Driving School, greeted by one of the friendliest representatives I've ever talked to (Lynn). I signed up for several driving lessons over 4 months, the 6-hour course, and the pre-licensing coarse with Myra. Not only is it just always a good idea to support a small business operated by two women, but the lessons become more personal and adapt to your specific needs and diffusing your fears/anxieties needed to become a good driver. All of the advice was specific to me as an individual, not me as just another person who wants to get their license. Myra is super friendly and really knows her stuff and use greats strategies as an educator. THANK YOU so much!!!! I will miss you! I will definitely see you on the road again, just like the other day! :)

This school LITTERALLY changed my life. I was so afraid of driving that I assumed I would never lean. Their patience, compassion and expertise helped me to overcome my fears and now I feel safe in any driving situation(I have gone on long road trips- I even drive in Manhattan!) I will always be grateful to them and would highly recommend them to anyone else who thinks he or she will never learn to drive.

I don't know how someone can say that the Lynn or Myra (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) are rude. They are very professional, they call you back right away, and they are upfront with their pricing. They are always willing to work with you. Truth is, there is no price tag for teaching safe driving skills. Driving is not a right it is a privilege. They have been in business for many years.....hats off to you ladies! My 2 kids learned with them and they passed their road test thanks to them.

If you want to learn how to drive at your own pace then this driving school is just for you. You couldn't ask for a nicer instructor than Myra who teaches you everything you have to know about driving. If you're the kind of person who prefers to have private lessons and not have to share the care with multiple people at a time then this driving is definitely for you. I can't recommend this place enough.

Myra was my instructor. I've had a few in the past and she is by far the best. WORTH the money! I had three classes with her and I passed my test. My biggest fear was the parallel parking, but thanks to her technique of teaching, I was able to ace the test. If I can pass it anyone can! I'm a very tense, antsy person by nature and I was able to build confidence in myself after taking classes with Myra. She is also very responsible, always on time and was NEVER late like all other instructors were from other schools.

A Woman's Way Driving School I am so very happy I decided to take lessons from A Woman's Way. I realized that I chose correctly during my first contact with Lynn Fuchs, the owner. Lynn was very friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in my needs. Lynn assigned Myra as my instructor. It seemed Myra knew immediately that I was a nervous wreck and managed to calm me down. She explained everything you need to know to drive safely, and had me doing more in the first lesson than I had thought I could handle! I took six, one and one-half hour lessons and now I am comfortable to drive on my own. My goal was to be able to drive my husband home after a procedure in the hospital in his huge 'tank' of a car, which I did with such ease and confidence. Myra continued to comfort me, encourage and reassure me that I was driving well. Myra truly is a wonderful instructor. She has so much patience and her method of teaching has you driving immediately. You will be very happy that you chose A Woman's Way Driving School - I promise!

My daughter had a great experience with them. They were patient, kind and very instructional. 1.5 hour lesson once a week for a month or so, got my daughter ready for road test and she passed the first time! Honestly, we did not think she would pass or be a very good driver. My daughter is a good driver that knows the rules of the road. So a big thank you to Myra and Lynn for working with my daughter diligently.

I can honestly say that a Woman’s Way Driving School is the best!!! Lynn and Myra are absolutely amazing on teaching you all you need to know. I failed my driving test 10 years ago and I never went back. I have two kids and getting around on the bus with them just wasn’t working anymore. Then I heard about them from a friend who also said good things about them. I had really bad anxiety about taking the test again and failing. But with the help of Lynn and Myra I passed my road test on the first try. They are so sweet and really patient! Highly recommended!!!!

Being a teacher myself. I can say this is truly a great place to learn how to drive. Even if you live outside their normal service area just get there. It’s worth the trip to go. You’re not only taught and practiced on how to increase your chances in passing the road test. But also how to drive smart which was a real confidence booster. Highly recommended!!

Dear Woman’s Way Driving School,

I cannot thank, you enough for the confidence and fearlessness you’ve given me for driving. Driving used to be something that made me scared and anxious, but now that I have taken lessons with Myra, I feel so much better as a driver. Myra was patient, understanding, kind and respectful. She gave me the tools I needed to be a good safe driver. I feel happy and independent now that I have my driver’s license. I strongly recommend taking lessons through A Woman’s Way Driving School if you are anxious about driving. Thank you again!

Dear Myra,

I passed my test! And I could not have done it without you! From day one, you put me at ease, which wasn't the easiest task. Driving was my big fear in life and now it is simply a part of my life. Thank you so much for all the time and patience you have put into making me a safe and confident driver. ( I even tested the waters on the southern state less than 24 hours after getting my little receipt). Feel free to use me as a reference, as I would speak your praises to anyone.

Thanks again,

Dear Lynn and Myra,

This morning, I took my road test at the Garden City Park test site. And to be truthful, I wasn't expecting to pass the exam at all. As you know, I had taken it once already in Laurelton and through discussions, the both of you knew how the test was unexpected and that I myself didn't feel ready.

To be honest, after I failed the first time two years ago, I thought I would never be able to pass it. I'm sure you've heard that statement before, but I truly felt that getting a driver's license was a game I could never successfully play. I believed that getting one's license was something possible for everyone else but me, because everyone else was lucky and I have never, ever in my lifetime get a license that it was against all odds, impossible and was truly ok with it. I went for it this time anyway; thinking it was a "rumble for the inevitable"; something I couldn't control the outcome of, that I'd just be my parent's biggest disappointment and thought eventually, I'll just have to take the bus or train to school, student teaching, around town and wherever I go in the future.

So the fact that I still can't say that I passed my road test today is such a surprise beyond words to describe. I can't stop pinching myself, I just cannot believe that I passed. For me, this is mind-blowing and I just cannot thank the both of you enough. The both of you throughout the first time you met me in 2006 at the end of my senior year in high school have taught me so much. You've taught me so much more than how to drive, you've given me an opportunity to do something I never thought I could successfully do. You've helped out every problem faced on and off the road through Lessons, classes and even through our conversations. You both refuse to give up on those like me, that give up or think they really, really, really, can't do it.

I promise to stay myself and be the caring, alert driver and person; and not change to be those drivers my age and younger/older that we question how they got their license in the first place (and those that tail-gate me doing the speed limit, even school zones! :-) ) I know too many people that once they passed their licenses change for the worst.

Thank you both very much for every bit of help and support over the years. There aren't words to describe how grateful I truly am and how blessed that I found A Woman's Way.

Sincerely,

Emily H.

Dear Myra,

Although it was long overdue I would like to say thank you for teaching me how to drive. Your calm demeanor and understanding helped to make learning how to drive a success, but also a pleasure as well. I very much enjoyed our weekly sessions and although I am saddened that they are over, I am over joyed to finally have a license of my own. I know earning my license would have been much more difficult without your help. Thank you for making this experience a pleasure rather than an ordeal.

Dear Lynn,

I just wanted to thank you again for all you've done for me. I never thought I could get my license, but you showed me that I could. First try too!!

Not only am I happy for finally learning to drive, but I'm confident in my driving skills and I know I'm a good and safe driver thanks to you, Barbara and Monica.

You've all been so patient and kind. I could have never done it without you. You taught me that there's more to driving than sitting in the driver's seat. Learning to drive a car and learning to be an in control, safe driver are two totally different things, and thanks to all of you. I'm the second of the two, and I couldn't thank you more.

Hi, all you students, and future drivers, I might add, you made one hell of a choice coming to A Woman's Way Driving School. I should know, Monica was my driving instructor, and she helped me pass my road test on the first try-no mistakes either. And look, if she could teach me to drive safely, she can teach anyone. Be confident, and don't let anyone bully you with his horn-that's what I keep in mind when I drive now. That, and keep your eyes in the distance. Good luck to all of you, and I hope to see you driving on the road.

A woman who finally got her license,

P.S. I even sent one of my friends who was going to another driving school (she failed the road test three tests with them) here. And A Woman's Way helped her to pass on her first try with them.

Dear Lynn,

I never thought I'd overcome my anxieties about driving. After you'd retrained me the proper way, I now feel I can drive skillfully, defensively in any area, confidently. Your expert methods and techniques will always remain with me. Heavy traffic, tight situations, and rude drivers won't intimidate me. Now I'm even enthusiastic about map reading!

To put it simply and sincerely, you are the best teacher I've ever had. What at first seems like an overwhelming task becomes a challenge and finally becomes second nature. We'd all be in better shape if other professionals were as dedicated in their fields as you are in yours.

Thank you for helping me achieve the skill and privilege of driving and independence.

To whom it may concern:

On Monday, August 4th 1986, I started my first private driving lesson with Lynn Fuchs. Lynn Fuchs owns and operates A WOMAN'S WAY Driving School. Lynn has been providing lessons for me twice a week for three months. With each lesson I felt more confident as a driver and was aware of the improvement I was making with Lynn's guidance. On November 6th of 1986, I tool my first road test and passed it with no difficulties.

Lynn Fuchs' driving school was recommended to me by my sister Diane. Diane attended classes with Lynn in 1984 and passed her first road test on February 14th 1984. Diana has been driving for almost three years confidently because of Lynn's instruction. I also share that confidence because I know that I will be a responsible driver due to the guidance Lynn Fuchs provided for me.

Here I am late as usual!

Just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the key chain but most importantly to thank you for giving me lessons.

I can never thank you enough for your patience and kindness. Your drillings and thoroughness paid off in turning this student into a concientions driver, my husband is very proud of that.

Dear Lynn,

It's been 10 days since my road test and the "misty eyes" have cleared well enough for me to write to you. The excitement of telling my good news and being lost among flowers and balloons is still with me, however at present I feel 10 feet tall.

I'll get down to earth someday!! I've been driving to work and around Island Park with my husband at the helm. It's not the best situation but right now it will have to do. We are car shopping!!

I do want to thank you for all the encouragement and for teaching me the correct "rules of the road." I miss driving with you next to me but I do hear your voice telling me "you'll do fine." Hope all the people I'll tell about you will give a call someday.

You don't know how happy I am to be able to drive anytime I feel like driving now that I have the driving license.

It's such a great feeling of independence. I would never have been able to do this without your help and your heaven sent patience. You are the best!

But the most incredible thing is, my husband says that I drive very well and he has only yelled at me once while driving!!! He says he feels very comfortable with me at the wheel, and I have taken over the "family driving"!!

Thanks again Monica for having made the difference in our lives!
